Catering formats for corporate events
A formal dinner service with individual plating is suitable for client entertainment, team celebrations, or awards dinners. We build a set menu in advance with your dietary requirements incorporated. Service is timed to your agenda, ensuring that presentations, speeches, and timing requirements are discussed at the planning stage.
Our preferred format for team dinners and internal events features large cuts of dry-aged beef, such as côte de boeuf, tomahawk, and sharing platters, served at the table for the group to divide. This is less formal than plated service and better for conversation, creating the kind of relaxed atmosphere that makes team events worth attending.
A drinks and bites format for company borrels, product launches or informal client receptions. We set the space for standing guests, serve canapes and snacks from the kitchen and provide a staffed bar. Minimum 20 guests for this format. Duration typically two to three hours, extendable.
Available Thursday through Saturday from 12:00, we offer a two or three-course set lunch in a private area of the restaurant. This is suitable for client meetings, team catch-ups, or working lunches. The kitchen produces the same quality as the evening menu, as this is a true dining experience rather than a catered meeting room.
Leidseplein is central Amsterdam’s most accessible square for guests coming from across the city or from outside Amsterdam. Multiple tram lines converge on the square; tram 2 and 5 run direct from Amsterdam Centraal in 15 minutes. For guests arriving from Schiphol, the journey is under 45 minutes door to door.
The location also gives your event a character that a hotel meeting room or generic event space cannot replicate. Leidseplein has energy; the city is present, the evening has momentum, and guests tend to arrive in the right frame of mind for a successful evening.

FAQs
For smaller business dinners of 9 to 20 guests, two to three weeks is usually workable. For events of 30 or more, full venue hires, and events requiring AV setup or custom branding, we recommend four to six weeks. Year-end and December events book up early, so we suggest contacting us by October to secure your dates.
Yes. We provide written quotations including all line items, such as food, drinks, service, AV, and decoration costs, in the format your procurement or finance team requires. VAT-compliant invoicing on company account is available.
The ground floor of Steak Club Leidse is fully accessible. The upper floor is reached by stairs. For events where accessibility is a requirement for all guests, we recommend booking the ground floor area and discussing layout with our team in advance.
Yes. We have a screen and HDMI input available for presentations. For speeches, we can provide a wireless microphone. We ask that the format and timing be discussed at the planning stage so kitchen and service can be coordinated accordingly.
Yes. We build the corporate menu around your group’s requirements. For events where a significant proportion of guests are vegetarian or vegan, we develop a parallel menu that matches the quality of the meat menu rather than treating it as an afterthought. Discuss this with your event coordinator when planning.
Standard cancellation terms apply: events cancelled more than 14 days in advance are refunded in full minus any deposits paid for bespoke items. Events cancelled within 14 days are subject to a cancellation fee based on the confirmed minimum spend. Full terms are included in the event confirmation.
